Kinda off topic...but...
PLEASE READ THIS FOR ME!
Okay...Please, anyone who is reading this, does anyone here have any checkerboad Vans slip-ons that they don't want anymore, dont fit, or anything, and they will willingly give to me, for free, or for anything less than 20 dollars? PLEASE!! Sizes are, in girls, anything between a 7.5 to an 8.5, and in guys, anything between a 5.5 and a 7.5! PLEASE!!!!!!!! If you do, comment, then we can get something together. I'll send whoever it is some money or something like a CD. It may have been opened, though, because I get most of my CD's at like Goodwill and pawnshops. I hate big music places. Meh.
So yeah. PLEASEPLEASEPLEASE!!!!!!!!!!
If you do, I will love you forever.
My email is email@example.com
my AIM is graveyardxsmash
EDIT:BLACK AND WHITE CHECK'S PLEASE!
sorry for the off-topic-ness, but it would be easier for me to get some from people in the Community since y'all live close. Heh.

Hmm. Even though I don't live in Chucktown I'm gonna join. I actually live in Summerville. Heh. It's close enough.
So yeah. Does anyone here happen to know what ever happened to Boy Reck Prom? I've heard they broke up because the guitarist, Nick, started doing drugs. I was gonna ask him, but he's never online anymore. So...does anyone know?
And, I have connections to The Falls Lost. I feel so special. I remember when they were still called Second Season...
Yeah. So that's all I have to say. Current Mood: awake

Bill Carson and His Checkered Past will be having a CD release on November 19th at The Redux on St. Phillips st. I don't know what time it starts, but flyers will be up around Charleston soon. Everyone should go and see Bill. He's a great guy. Also from what I've heard is that Michael Flynn and Amanda Kapazous(sp?) might be playing with him. But if they aren't you should still go. OK this is very important.
This Saturday, August 7th,
Michael Flynn, will be playing at the New Cumberlands on King st.
It is very important that everyone try to come. If you don't live in Charleston, call someone you know in Charleston and tell them to bring as many friends as possible and go to the show. People from record companies are going to be at the show, and Michael needs a good turn out. So please help him, come to the show, have a few drinks. I may be working merch, if I'm nomy friend Taylor will be. The Young Republicans are opening along with Tyler Reed.
Please try your hardest to come. The show will rock.
doors open at 9.

They are playing at the Windjammer on April 9, for $5. It will probably be a 21+ show. And it will rock. (That's a friday.)
Saw Weird Science
. They are so awesome. See them if you love the 80's. And who doesn't? Current Mood: amused
Is skintight playing somewhere this weekend, or did they play last weekend?

Goth Industrial Night
At the Pantheon on Thrusday was loads of fun. It's even better when you're sober.
Also, I checked out the Blind Tiger on Broad Street. It's a great bar. I would recommend it, but it's not cheap. It's a place to hang out with friends and pretend you have more money than you do. Also, went to Club Habana on Friday. They have a great cheese plate. Fun times were had by all.
interesting things that happend downtown. Pop had some blues/jazz guys come play at Clara's they were pretty cool. Did not get a name cuz my friends wanted to leave, but I ended up going back. I got back just in time too. When I walked in Evan Bivins walk out from the back of the store. I said hi, and walked to the back and talked to pop. Great Minds Go To Clara's.
Thanks to the Wildlife festival happing in Marion(sp?) Square there was lots of busking. Two chicks were playing some Irish music on the violin and viola. (did i spell any of that right?)They were playing in front of......The name of the resturant is gone from my mind this early in the morning. But its on King. Its not Tommy Condons. I'll ask pop when next he has some players coming to his shop and let ya'll know. Current Mood: groggy

Have a great weekend. Report any cool stuff going down if you are in the know. (And don't mind.) Current Mood: excited
OK you said to post something about what we like to do in charleston so here you go.
Every sunday my friends and I go to Clara's Coffee on King street. we get some tea and play boggle. Then depending on the weather, we either go wandering to the Lindt Choclate shop, or just go walking around, or we go play Hacky sack in the park. We have been doing this "ritual" for about 2...3 months now. Its really fun. Then of coures I love going to the concerts around here. Charleston is a beautiful place, and I love it. I never want to move. Current Mood: okay

This is my first post here, and I just have a quick question.
Does anyone know anything about the Mezzane on King Street? Tinker's Punishment is playing there Saturday, but I don't know if it's a 21+ club (and I'm 19). Really, anything you know about this place would be helpful, but that's my main concern since I need to plan this thing before my friend comes down from Columbia...
Thanks! Current Mood: hopeful
It looks like we got some new members. Yea! If you wouldn't mind, why don't you post something about who you are and what you like to do in Charleston. Current Mood: cheerful
Yes, it's going to happen. Yea!! I love to dance. Also, Goth Insturstrial night will be occuring on Thrusday, as well. For all you goth kids, it should be good times. (Not that anyway reads this but me.) Current Mood: amused

It's a fun place to dance. Very cool music. Lots of 80's and 70's pop and all the modern stuff that we love to hate. The crowd was a little older than most hang outs on King Street, but I guess it's good to venture out. Some creepy guy danced with me. Oh well. They have a coat check. That's always nice.
